BENEFICIARIES

The Project has two beneficiaries: direct and indirect.

Direct beneficiaries are:

  • 350 secondary schools (approximately), targeted in all regions,
  • 10,000 girls directly targeted with school-related initiatives in underprivileged areas;
  • 26 public schools i.e. 16 technical and vocational secondary schools, eight (8) MINEFOP training centres, one (1) MINEPIA training centre and one (1) MINADER training centre;
  • 10,000 new teachers, 3,700 headteachers and 1,200 supervisory staff in general secondary education;
  • 1,450 trainers and skills development staff;
  • Administrative staff to benefit from capacity-building activities and technical assistance;
  • Public and private vocational training centres;
  • Companies, SMEs, VSEs, cooperatives and associations receiving support from SESDP;

 

Indirect beneficiaries of the Project are (i) Students; (ii) Learners and trainees in vocational training centres; (iii) Companies to benefit from skills acquired by learners in vocational training centres supported by SESDP.
