The firm recruited by the Secondary Education and Skills Development Project (SESDP) to conduct a post-training monitoring survey of graduates from Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions held a training session for its data collectors from 10 to 13 April at Somatel Hotel in Yaounde.
This survey aims to monitor the integration of TVET graduates from MINEFOP, MINESEC, MINEPIA and MINADER across the ten (10) regions of Cameroon. In addition, the survey will focus on monitoring trainees in targeted growth sectors of the job market such as building and public works, energy, digital technology and agro-industry.
These findings will enable the Cameroon government – in charge of Technical and Vocational Skills Development – to provide insights likely to guide and redesign the systems and policies implemented in the field of employment.
The firm’s work on the field begins on 16 April 2025 and its final report including the statistical analysis of data collected is expected within 90 days.
The report will also contain suggestions for data collection sustainability mechanisms as part of the post-training follow-up of TVET graduates.
